On Monday, I studied "my name's origin".
My name is 林 志帆(Hayahsi Shiho). 林 is my last name. It means trees. Maybe a long time ago my ancastors lived in near forest. That's why my last name be 林.
And 志帆 is my first name, it means Have a wish highly.
I like my first name but I don't like last name. 林(hayashi) is ordinary ordinary ordinary...
In my town there are lot of 林. Almost of them are my relatives.

私の名前は林 志帆で林は木からもらいました。 きっと昔わたしの先祖は森に近いところで住んでいたからだと思う。
志帆の意味は強い心でいるように（志を高く持つ）って言う意味。
わたしは名前が好きだけど、苗字は嫌いです。だってすごく普通だから。
近所は林ばっかりで、ほとんどが親戚です。

I was about 10 years old when I came to U.S.
Interestingly, my last name 'Lim' is written as 林. so... we have same last name. it's kinda interesting =o
I play cello. I was in orchestra during my high school year.
